ABOUT THE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY CENTER The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) at Maui College is a federally-funded TRIO program that provides post-secondary educational information, financial aid resources, and career exploration to any Maui County adult interested in college at UHMC or elsewhere. EOC is the only program of its kind in the state of Hawai‘i and has helped over 30,000 Maui County residents since the program began in 1977. Many have gone on to college, some to graduate school, and many have entered careers they would never have dreamed possible before. Our services are free and available on an individual, group or outreach basis by walk-in or appointment basis. Our Maui office is in UHMC's Ho‘okipa Building, 984-3286. Our Moloka‘i office is located at the Maui College Moloka‘i Education Center, 553-4490 ext. 23, and at Moloka‘i High School.
