Hawaii Colleges and Universities

Looking for the right college from which to recieve your degree in the Hawaiian Islands?

There are alot of choices when it comes to a higher education in Hawaii, starting with the University of Hawaii. This is Hawaii's flagship public system featuring 10 campuses: Manoa, Hilo, West Oahu, Hawaii, Honolulu, Kapiolani, Kauai, Leeward, Maui, and Windward. For the resident, there is no better value in education than that offered by the campuses of UH. For the out-of-state prospective student, there is also a hidden value of an excellent education in a world reknowned unique island setting.

International students can be immersed in American culture while experiencing a specific mutli-cultural community found exclusively in the Hawaiian island chain. Looking at Maui, we not only find ethnic diversity, but a diverse landscape ranging from a country feel of Hana and upcountry, to the urban areas with the resources of high-tech corporations and leaders in the hospitality industry.

Of course students can also explore a wide variety of online distance degrees available through national distance universities. Additionally, there are a handful of private universities in Hawaii that offer higher education, though at a higher cost to the prospective student. But when it comes to Maui, the island consistently rated number 1 in the world for the past 11 years, there is one institution that stands out, and it's The College on Maui.
