What is the Ka Lama Computer Center?
The Ka Lama Computer Center is a supervised study area where students use computers and business machines to complete their assignments. Personal assistance is available at all times in the Business Lab. The staff includes a faculty lab coordinator and student lab assistants who are able to provide essential support for a wide range of computer programs.

Software packages used in MCC courses such as Accounting, Business Careers, Cooperative Education, Maui Culinary Academy, Hotel Operations, Business Technology, and others, are provided. Data-entry, keyboarding, and skill building programs are also available.

Business Division students taking self-paced, open-entry/open-exit courses, do much of their work in the Computer Center

What are the Ka Lama Computer Center requirements?
Any MCC student, faculty member or community continuing education student enrolled at Maui Community College may use the Computer Center.

Where is the Ka Lama Computer Center?
The Ka Lama Computer Center is located in Room 203 of Ka Lama building. To see a photo of Ka Lama please click here. The Computer Center contains thirty four IBM compatible systems which have a wide variety of software installed.
