There are several indicators that tell us how we’re doing in terms of EV adoption and deployment. At the beginning of each month, the Hawaii State Energy Office (DBEDT) releases the figures for the previous month: the number of EV registrations in each county, price of gasoline, price of electricity, etc., are all useful metrics. Maui County has the highest EV per capita in the State of Hawaii. 633 EVs registered as at end of Sept 2015. Population 163,108 @2014.
