· Swine flu issues beginning to taper off. · In the event it becomes a pandemic, DOH will take the lead. |

· Announcement of security incident made at Academic Senate. · Steps taken; issue has been downgraded to regular security. · Installation of Panic button discussed. · Out to Bid: closed circuit surveillance and emergency message. |

Summer Plans and Publicity |
· Summer renewable energy series o At least 4 students enrolled from mainland o Growing interest from students o Katie’s Press release printed in a number of college newsletters · Marketing efforts to be focused on specific programs. · Application and registration process is difficult for students. |
· Katie to send marketing plan for the summer months to executive committee. · Katie to review enrollments of summer courses and to focus marketing as appropriate. · Alvin to work with Katie on changes and report at next meeting.

· Curricular redesign plans underway o MyMathLab recommended. o Culinary, ABIT, Allied Health departments interested. o Need more science and math teachers. |
