Hawaiʻi residents pay only $106/credit for lower division classes. That means annual tuition (12 credits per semester) starts at just $2544 per year for Hawai’i residents.

We integrate classroom learning with opportunities for real-world experience. Students have worked with equipment in astronomy labs, treated patients at local clinics and hospitals, and catered events at five-star resorts.

Career Services

UHMC students have free access to CareerLink, a college program that provides career readiness skills and job placement services with business partners throughout Maui County.

Choose from 3 bachelor of applied science degree programs, 21 associate degree programs, or 27 certificate programs. The University of Hawai’i Center, Maui, also offers distance learning degrees through our UH partners.

Degree in Three:

Join our Degree-in-Three program and you can earn your associate degree in Liberal Arts by taking classes in the evenings and online or cable TV.

You may be eligible for financial aid and all students receive free counseling services. Already have some college credit?  Ask
whether you can transfer it and earn your degree even faster.
