Financial Aid

 

Application Process

1. Apply for a Federal Pin Number - Note - if you are under the age of 24, your parent will need to apply for a pin as well.
2. Complete the FAFSA Web Worksheet using your completed 2006 Tax Forms - OPTIONAL. Using the worksheet will ensure that all the necessary information is on hand.
3.

Complete the FREE Federal Student Aid Application (FAFSA).

*Make sure to add the school code for Maui Community College (001615)

4.

MCC will receive your data electronically and we will then be able to calculate your financial aid award. The priority filing date (submitted to the federal processor) is April 1, 2008 . Remember, grant funds are limited and expended quickly. File on time to ensure full consideration.

Also, you must be accepted for admission to the university before a financial aid award can be issued.

Upon receipt of the FAFSA results in the Financial Aid Office, a financial aid award letter will be sent to you. You must review the award and return a signed copy of the letter to the Financial Aid Office. In addition, other documents may be requested from you at that time.
