What is the FAFSA?

FAFSA stands for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Simply put the FAFSA application is a form you complete to apply for federal and state financial aid.

We encourage you to visit the Federal Student Aid website at studentaid.gov for more detailed information about the FAFSA.

What year/semester do you plan on attending UH Maui College?

Most of the time there are two FAFSA applications available. Please be sure you are completing the correct year. Also, keep in mind that a FAFSA application needs to be completed every year.

The semester you started / or will be starting college determines what FAFSA application you should complete. If you are currently enrolled in college and will be continuing to attend the next year, you will want to make sure you have completed an application for both years.

For more information about the FAFSA and tax/income information you will need, use your mouse to select the year/semester you will be attending college.
