Q: DOES FINANCIAL AID PAY FOR CLASSES AT OTHER UH CAMPUSES?
A: It depends upon whether that distance class applies to the degree you are pursuing at UH Maui College. All students who take distance classes and are receiving financial aid must have at least one home campus class and complete a Concurrent Enrollment Form to be signed by an academic counselor. Important notes in regards to distance classes are:
1- If you receive financial aid for those classes most financial aid may not pay for other campuses tuition. You will receive financial aid but must pay for your distance classes after you receive your financial aid.
2- If you add or drop any classes (Maui or distance) after you have turned in the distance education form you must notify our office. We will check students enrollment after the erase period and if you are not enrolled in the same schedule your aid will be adjusted and you may owe back funds.
