Spring 2015 GIS Showcase on May 13 from 5-8pm

Instructor Sarah McLane and her Spring 2015 GIS certificate students are hosting a GIS Showcase on Wednesday, May 13 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Maui Brewing Co in the Kihei Tech Park.
Join us to learn more about Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and how this technology can transform the way you manage and operate your business or organization, whether it be in the resource management, agriculture, education, healthcare, transportation, media, marketing, government, hospitality, real estate, construction or development sectors.
Our Spring 2015 UHMC GIS certificate students will share their final projects with interested employers, internship sponsors, prospective students, and community organizations. This event is free and open to the public.
To learn more about UHMC’s new fast track GIS certificate program, visit maui.hawaii.edu/gis. The next cohort for the Geographic Information Systems in Ecosystem Management Certificate of Competence will begin in Fall 2015, with class starting Aug 24.
Applications are being accepted now if you or anyone in your organization is interested in earning this certificate in one semester! Contact Sarah McLane (smclane@hawaii.edu) for more information.
