Need access to a computer or printer or tutoring in a particular subject or need to log some study lab hours for Ku‘ina or math lab hours? The Kaiao Student Success Center (one of the newest buildings on campus) is available to assist you!
Typical Lab Hours in Fall/Spring Semesters

During Summer, the lab will only be open to Mu’o A’e students enrolled in Summer Bridge classes. It will re-open in fall.
Lab Hours: Due to classes scheduled in the Kaiao SSC, the computer lab will be closing early on the dates and times specified below:

Features: wireless access, laptop computers, peer tutoring services available to all students*, limited printing capability
* Mu‘o A‘e students are given priority for tutoring services; however, tutors can assist non-Mu‘o A‘e when possible.
Cost for peer tutoring services: none
Printing: first 5 pages are free! You will be charged 5 cents for additional pages. There is also double-sided printing available (double-sided counts as 2 pages).

Peer Tutoring
The Kaiao Student Success Center has skilled, trained peer tutors available to help you succeed. Tutors primarily provide math and English tutoring support; however, they can possibly assist with other subjects, such as Hawaiian, Hawaiian Studies, etc. Students should inquire about whether tutoring can be provided in a particular subject area. Services are available at no charge and tutoring is open to the entire UH Maui College campus. No appointment is necessary; walk-ins are welcome.
