Angela Gannon

Angela has been employed with Maui Community College (Maui CC) for 20 years now in both the Academic Affairs department and currently as an Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs.  Prior to working for the University of Hawai`i she was employed by the Second Circuit Court Judiciary in both the Adult and District Court Probation Offices. 

 While with the Maui CC she has been involved with opportunities such as being both President and Advisor for the Hawaiian Club, representative Steward, Unit 03 secretary and Union Gap Newsletter Editor for the Hawaii Government Employees Association, and is also currently a life long learner, pursuing con-current Associates and Bachelors Degrees in Business.  She also received both her Associates Degrees in Administration and Liberal Arts from Maui CC. 

 She has more recently partnered with the Local Delinquency Prevention Programs Maui County Team and assisted in the development of a pilot Title V supported “In-School Suspension Program” partnered by the Maui Police Department, the Upcountry Boy’s & Girl’s Club of Maui and Kalama Intermediate School.

 She also enjoys supporting community functions such as being co-chair for St. Joseph Church Annual Feast’s Live Auction committee.  She has three children and three grandchildren and is happily married, living in Upcountry Maui.
