What is IntraSystem Loan (ISL)?The purpose of IntraSystem Loan is to obtain books and materials needed for researce for UHMC students, faculty, and staff from other University of Hawaii System libraries when those materials are not available at UHMC. Plan ahead! Loans usually arrive in one week, but may take much longer. How Long Does It Take?Photocopies of journal articles and book loans: 5 working days (average, this may be longer) plus transit time. How Much Does It Cost?

How Will I Know My ISL Request Is Ready for Pickup?You will be notified by email. Where Do I Pick Up Book LoansBook loans may be picked up only at the UHMC Library circulation desk How Do I Receive Filled Document Requests?We make every effort to deliver documents electronically to you. You will receive an email with a PDF attachment. PDF attachments may be viewed using an up-to-date Internet browser the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in.
