mus108_72pxMUS108 Fundamentals of Western Music is a 3-credit course for anyone who wants to learn about music from the ground up. There’s no pre-requisite.

It’s a great companion to an instrumental course such as piano because you will learn the why of music: notation, rhythm, melody, harmony, basic theory, and lead sheets.

This music literacy course will be offered for the first time Fall Semester 2015 on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 to 10:15 a.m. in Kupa’a 104.
