The Basics - Principles of photography; consciously using the view finder, focus, lens, and flash settings; practice using your camera's features; tips for family and vacation photos. Carol Pratt, Images from the heart photographer and originator of the popular point & shoot photography classes, has been teaching for over 10 years. Her enthusiasm and intention for people to learn in a fun environment has resulted in hundreds of happy, satisfied students who have gone on to take great photos. She has been named Teacher of the Month at California's College of Marin.
