Enrollment in the Upward Bound Program is
limited to 60 Maui County High School Students annually who
meet the following requirements:
- Student must be a freshman, sophomore, or
junior at time of application
- Student must be a U.S. citizen or national
or permanent resident of the U.S
- Student must show the potential and motivation
to be successful in education beyond high school
- Student must have income according to guide
lines established by the federal government
- Student’s parent(s) must not have earned
a bachelor’s degree
- Student must have an academic need for the Upward Bound program
