Impervious Outlaws
By Toni Hoberecht
My jewelry box is having coffee with her drawers,
Chunky wooden handles.
Tarnished earrings,
Red fin key hidden inside.
Rainbow moonstone with her loose silver chain,
Motionless Tibetan Rudraksha seeds.
Miscellaneous sticker collection questions survival,
And why they’re forced to mingle,
With tenuous sunrise shells,
And white paper fortunes.
