Nā Leo is proud to announce the October 2019 Student of the Month: Giovanna Garza Motta!
Giovanna is a passionate, sensitive, and persistent student from Guadalajara, Mexico.
She is constantly inspired by God’s creation, and is most inspired when surrounded by nature, especially on the island of Maui.
Giovanna is passionate about doing things that she loves and makes her happy with the people that she cares about. Painting is just one example of something she loves doing.
As October’s Contest Winner, Giovanna decided to share the story behind her winning piece “Master of the Winds”:
“This piece was a gift for my mother and it was inspired by her who has always loved golden eagles. I think of her as a powerful, courageous, and strong woman, which I also think is what an eagle represents, so I tried to capture that in this painting.”
