Aloha UHMC ʻOhana,
We hope you and your ohana are healthy and well!
These past few weeks, we at Na Leo Literary Review have been thinking about the power of creativity to unite us, to help us cope, and to imagine pono futures. As such, we’re calling for our campus artists (students, faculty, and staff), to share your #quarantivity and the art you’ve created during these uncertain times with us.
All mediums of art—from photography, to poetry, to handcrafted facemasks, and everything in between—will be considered for publication in a special online Nā Leo issue, Connections in Quarantivity, and will be shared to our website, Instagram, and Facebook. Students have the chance to be featured as our Student of the Month and will also be entered to win $50-$100!
This call has been extended until June 30, so you still have time after the spring semester wraps up, and into summer, to let your creativity flow.
We can be contacted at naleolit@hawaii.edu with any questions or to submit your work!
Me ke aloha nui,
Nā Leo Literary Review
