Nā Leo is proud to announce the September 2020 Student of the Month:
Sia Amotai!
Sia is a determined, funny, and outgoing student born in Reno, Nevada and raised here on the island of Maui. One of the things that inspires her creative work is her Polynesian culture. Sia is passionate about change and seeing the bigger picture in everything. Her winning poem was inspired by “the opposing sides of Polynesian cultures which needed some light to be shed on.”
