Description: “This piece was made as a challenge project for my Art 264 course in Fall 2018 at UHMC-Molokai. This was one of the required projects that was meant for the advanced students to try the unknown and make something new. So, I made this piece out of white clay and Raku fired it. Itʻs a representation of a canoe like the Hōkūleʻa traveling “On Her Journey” on different paths around the world. Which also can be translated into the many choices we make in life as individuals and the paths we create as an example for others to follow!”
