As I conducted my research for this timeline, I found it difficult to choose which women I wanted to highlight. Throughout history, there have been countless women who bravely faced battles that paved the way to our future. For each of the woman that I wrote about, I was only able to include a brief description of their accomplishments. I urge you to take the time to learn more about each. While it is important to look towards the future with plans for greatness, it is just as important to recognize how far we have come.
