• Interpret and utilized a Request for Application (RFA) to guide their proposal development.
• Identify and develop a strong statement of need based on scientific information, statistics and other data that support the case they intend to make to support their proposed project.
• Write measurable objectives that are directly tied with their evaluation metrics.
• Identify the critical components of a reasonable budget and develop a project budget to meet the RFA requirements while adequately supporting their project needs.
