If you love sandwiches, salads, hot dogs, homemade pudding or basically anything that tastes good, you need to visit 808 Deli, which is located across from Kamaole Beach 2 in Kihei.
808 Deli has been voted “Best Sandwiches on Maui” for three years in a row and their food holds true to that award. With an average price of $9 per meal, you will find a delicious dish that will have you daydreaming about it until your taste buds are able to get ahold of it again.

When you walk into the welcoming beach atmosphere that 808 Deli provides, you will see two casual lunchroom tables and an arcade game that gives the deli a vintage feel. Don’t be worried if there is a crowd, because 808 Deli’s staff is quick and efficient. If the seating is full, 808 Bistro, which is just a couple feet away, will open its tables for all 808 Deli customers.
The menu provides a range of specialties to choose from, but 808 Deli is mainly known for its unique sandwiches. They have every sandwich you could think of, and more. And be certain that whatever sandwich you do choose to order, 808 Deli’s staff will pack it as much as they can for you.
A popular sandwich is the delectable chicken pesto sandwich. It is filled with flavorful chicken covered in gooey provolone cheese, creamy pesto, savory sundried tomatoes and toasted pine nuts. Yes, that’s right: All of those amazing ingredients come together in just one of their delicious sandwiches.
If your mouth isn’t already watering, it will be when you hear about their southern squealer sandwich. It consists of tender pulled pork covered in creamy coleslaw with melted cheddar cheese that lies on top of a fresh baguette. Whether you’re finishing your surf session, on your lunch break or craving a flavorful lunch, this sandwich will satisfy all of your cravings.

Every month, 808 Deli chooses a charity to donate money to with all of the proceeds they make off of their pudding. This includes the banana pudding, chocolate and peanut butter pudding and Twix pudding. Each one includes chunks of the individual flavor, making each bite a delicious and harmonious rollercoaster.
