The Testing Center at University of Hawaii Maui College in Kahului is located in The Learning Center. We provide computer and paper-based testing to students and community members. If special needs accommodations are requested, please notify The Learning Center staff prior to taking the exam.
In-person testing is available by appointment for all UH students needing to test for another UH campus course and for students needing special accommodations. Please schedule at least 48 hours prior to your requested test date.

The Learning Center provides testing for all distance learning courses for all colleges and universities in the University of Hawaii System.
Professional Certification
The Learning Center is an authorized testing center for several professional certification exams.
UHMC Testing Center Regulations
Valid photo ID is required for ALL testing services.
Notify testing staff if ADA accommodations are required.
The testing room is under surveillance and the computer screens are monitored.
No cell phones or other electronic devices (including smartwatches) or materials allowed in testing room. All electronics must be turned off and placed behind the reception counter or placed into a locked security bag as provided by the proctor.
No food or beverages.
Children are not permitted in the testing center and may not be left unattended in TLC.
All exams must be completed within the Hours of Operation.
Online testers are prohibited from opening additional browser windows.
Online testers must have a proctor verify “Finish / Submit” has been clicked.
Proctors are required to report any unusual activity to course instructors.
Test takers found guilty of academic dishonesty are subject to disciplinary action.
All scratch paper and notes must be turned in at the end of the exam.
