Kaʻieʻie Transfer Pathway Program
If your ultimate goal is to earn a four-year undergraduate degree from UH Mānoa (Mānoa) and you chose to begin your degree at UH Maui College (Maui College) then Ka‘ie‘ie might be for you. Ka‘ie‘ie is a transfer pathway program designed to help students successfully transfer from Maui College to Mānoa.
Ka‘ie‘ie students:
- save $70 as the Mānoa application fee is waived (no cost to you)
- are admitted to both Mānoa and Maui College (dual-admissions)
- receive academic advising at both campuses (Maui College and Mānoa)
- work with transfer specialists and counselors to create a long term academic plan to transfer at the best time
- can take Mānoa courses while still completing courses at Maui College (dual-enrollment)
- register early upon transfer to Mānoa (priority registration)
To learn more about the Ka‘ie‘ie Program and eligibility requirements check out our Ka‘ie‘ie Program Overview.
To see if Ka‘ie‘ie is right for you and join:

What’s my Major?
Not quite sure what your major will be? Then explore majors and career pathways by completing a Focus2 Career Assessment and scheduling an appointment with a UH Maui College Counselor. You can explore Mānoa majors too!
How do I have my non-UH transcripts forwarded to Mānoa?
If you’ve had transcripts from any non-UH institution evaluated by Maui College, you can request to have copies forwarded to Mānoa registrar’s office for admission purposes. Fill out a Request for Transcript Forwarding and submit it to the Maui College Admissions & Records office uhmcar@hawaii.edu.
