Repayment Estimator Instructions

Go to STUDENTAID.GOV and try the loan simulator to estimate your monthly payment. Based on your federal student loans, an overview of available repayment plans will be listed. TIP: FSA ID not required for an estimate, but for the best estimate, have your FSA ID Username and Password ready.
    1. Go to STUDENTAID.GOV
    2. At the home screen, scroll down to the bottom of the page
      1. On the bottom right, find the blue icon, ‘Figure out which repayment is best for you’
    3. Next, click on ‘LOAN SIMULATOR’ to advance
    4. The Loan Simulator will  guide to select the next best option.
    5. Click on ‘Log in and Start’ to begin
      1. Enter your FSA ID Username & Password.
      2. Review disclaimer and click ‘Accept’ to continue
    6. Follow the instructions and complete the questions as requested.
    7. Once your information is populated, the repayment chart will reflect repayment estimates.

Federal Loan Servicing Centers

We highly recommend student loan borrowers to register online with your federal student loan servicer. Once registered, you are able to receive updated information about your student loans and repayment options.
