Molokai Education Center

On an island that is uniquely Hawaiian yet interspersed with a variety of other cultures, Molokai provides a wonderful environment for students. The distractions of a busy, urban lifestyle do not exist. In their place are the serene, rugged beauty of the wild outdoors and a small population whose focus on family and friends is paramount.

Rich in tradition, Molokai is a natural place for learning –  peaceful, friendly, outspoken, confident, and knowledgeable. Realize your greatest potential, find your voice, exercise your passion, and discover it all on the island of Molokai. Education is our kuleana. Come and join us.

To Our Molokai Community

The Molokai Education Center is  open to our community. FACE MASK REQUIREMENTS LIFTED Face masks are no longer required on UH campuses and properties. UH will continue to remain highly vigilant, and COVID-19 restrictions may be quickly reinstated, if conditions change and warrant stronger measures.

Please respect the choices of every individual to wear a face mask and please abide by signs that may be posted outside individual offices requesting that masks be worn for the protection of others. We have many in our community at higher risk due to personal health and underlying conditions, and we want to keep them safe and feeling secure on our campuses. In addition, masking is still strongly encouraged in crowded indoor spaces.

Please note that masking is required for those who have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or has contracted the virus. They must wear a mask for the duration of the 10-day isolation period. Someone who has been infected may return on day 6 if their symptoms are substantially improved and they have not had any fever in the preceding 24 hours.

Current operating hours:  Mon/Tues/Wed 8am to 6pm, Thurs 8am to 7:30pm and Fri 8am to 4:30pm.  We are closed on weekends and State Holidays.

These changes and other important information are reflected in the updated UH COVID-19 Guidelines.

Covid-19 Campus Protocol

Everyone is strongly encouraged to be up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccinations including 1st and 2nd booster shots and bivalent boosters, if eligible. CDC tool to determine when or if you can get one or more COVID-19 boosters Full or up-to-date vaccination is required for employees and students in specific UH programs or courses (medical, nursing, social work, dental hygiene, etc.) where they are embedded within partner institutions that require vaccination. Please remember to check your UH email for announcements of COVID vaccine clinics at the Campus Health Center.

If you test positive for COVID-19, stay home and isolate for at least 5 days (until you are fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and your symptoms are improving).

We strongly recommend that you stay home if you feel ill, whether with COVID-19 or not, to recover and prevent community spread.
